EDUCATION  —  Bachelors of Arts degree in English/Creative Writing with extensive undergraduate work in journalism, speech communications and theater; California State University, Long Beach.  During this period, I also came under the mentorship of character actor and screenwriter True Boardman, Jr. and worked as an entertainment journalist for Clouds magazine.  Led the research and development team which designed a prototype social services network for CSULB’s 5000 veteran students and their families. Gave on campus poetry readings. Had a one act play written and starring me produced for a national convention of speech communications and theater educators.
